The West Coast Express wanted to remind their riders of some old safety rules with a series of platform posters. To cut through and grab people’s attention we created a campaign combining edgy humour and bold typography. The posters were received well and shared thousands of times via social media & popular blogs.
Phase two of the campaign involved stencilling safety messages on the platform itself to be read in conjunction with the permanent yellow line warnings. This encouraged commuters to stand even further behind the yellow line in order to read the full messages which we updated every week. The creative was covered in the press and shared online once again, ensuring our message was received far beyond the physical platform.
